The short version

SMEGOT is free, requires no account, and does not track you. There are no analytics scripts and no cookies set by us.

What we store (in your browser only)

• Watched history — the videos you open are remembered in your browser's localStorage so we can show a “watched” badge. It never leaves your device. Clear your browser data to erase it.
• Theme choice — whether you picked day or night mode.
• Notice dismissal — that you closed the cookie notice.

Third parties

• Video playback uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube's own policies apply once you press play.
• If we ever run ads, they will be a single minimalist slot; with an adblocker enabled you'll see a Ko-fi link instead, no guilt trips.
• Video metadata comes from the community-run Smosh Wiki (smosh.fandom.com), licensed CC BY-SA.
